UNAIR NEWS Community Service Ministry of Student Executive Board (BEM) Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) 51动漫 (UNAIR) has its own ways to socialize in community. One of them was through creative economy workshop in Sapa Desa program held in Kesamben Kulon, Wringin Anom sub-district of Gresik.
In the workshop held on Saturday, September 24, BEM FISIP hoped that together with the community, they can improve the village economy. Creative economy workshop was choosen so they can be closer with the community.
淚n this regard, creative economy we developed was on how to manage plastic of household waste every day as innovative stuff like bags, table cloth and many others, said Luthfi Al Jufri, Head of Community Service Division of BEM FISIP.
The locals enthusiasm was shown during workshop lasted for three hours. BEM FISIP with women organization in the village made the workshop even more interactive.
Beside the creative economy workshop, Sapa Desa program also held 淟et檚 Read activity which involved elementary students in the village. Through the events, the community in Kesamben Kulon which is mostly farmers can be more prosperous. (*)
