This has been proven true by the dentists at Periodontal Department, Faculty of Dental Medicine, 51动漫 who held an event entitled 淩esearch Based Dental Health Social Service in Banjarangkan Village, Klungkung, Bali. The event which held on Saturday (25/2) also involved Surabaya Headquarter of Indonesia Periodontal Association.
The PR of FKG UNAIR Shafira Kurnia Supandi, drg., Sp.Perio (K) who took part in the event explained that the aim of this social service was to optimize the quality improvement and status coverage of dental and oral health. Through the social service, the people were also educated to be able to maintain their dental and oral health on their own.
淲e expect, through this kind of social service, people will be able to know by themselves the anomalies of dental and oral diseases as well as to take effective action in dealing with emergencies, Shafira said.
In the social service, people were asked to gain knowledge through a series of activities like dissemination on dental and oral health for pregnant mothers, dental health basic service, tartar removal, as well as blood sugar and blood pressure checks.
According to Shafira, the social service involved some lecturers and of Dental Specialists Program FKG UNAIR. This event targeted on all local people and pregnant mothers. There were about 200 people attended the event.
The opening ceremony was led by the committee chairman Made Deby Artika, drg., MM., Periodontal Department Chairman Dr. Chiquita Prahasanti, drg., Sp.Perio (K), and the Head of Government Office in Klungkung Regency dr. Adi Swapatni.
淲e hope this social service can be an annual event as a form of our community service in implementing the Three Principles of Education, said Shafira.
