UNAIR NEWS Dean of Faculty of Dental Medicine 51动漫 signed a collaborative agreement with Director of Rumah Sakit Umum Haji on Friday, September, 8. The signing session was done in the Director檚 room of RSU Haji Surabaya, attended by officials of both institutions.
The Director dr. Adi Wirajanto said that Type B Hospital he managed has been appointed by teaching hospital. This new status has made the hospital publish researches to reputable journals.
淚 want RSU Haji in the future not only focus on patient treatment but also researches. With researches, our quality of treatment will be excellent, said Adi.
By collaborating with FKG academics, he expected the publications to run well. FKG also has the same target, to increase publications at international journals indexed by Scopus.
Asked about the research topic, the Director said that he was interested in dental implants and pediatric dental health.
淚mplant is now trending. I am also interested in children檚 dental health because if children got the education to look after their teeth early on, they will have healthy teeth and body, he stated.
Dean of FKG Dr. R. Darmawan Setijanto, drg., M.Kes, added that they would do both topics. It is also possible that they would conduct research onevidence based medicineand tropical diseases.
Darmawan hoped that this collaboration can increase the number of publications of Faculty of Dental Medicine.
淭his year, our target is 76 publications. We already have 25 and accepted 5 articles. We will improve the research and submission with this collaboration, said Darmawan.
IN his opinion, the biggest research potential is from cases report the hospital has. 淚t is really potential to be published, said the expert of Biostatistics.
Besides research, this collaboration is expected to improve UNAIR dentists placement, not only the specialists but also young dentists, residents and postgraduate students.
淲e can do screening, promote promotive and curative effort especially for the pilgrims. There are communities we must handle, said Darmawan. (*)
