FKH UNAIR Students Win Business Competition NESCAFE KICKSTART 2018

UNAIR NEWS– Students of Faculty of Veterinary Medicine (FKH) 51动漫 succeeded in bringing home 50 million rupiah and the 2nd place trophy of NESCAFE KICKSTART 2018 Business Competition last Wednesday.

According to Hanifa Nanda, one of the team members at Hi Vet andco founderof Vet Ways, her team previously won 1st in the NESCAFE KICKSTART 2017 Business Competition, with an application platform called Vet Ways that connects breeders and veterinarians.

“础苍诲听alhamdulillahthis year we won 2nd place in the same competition in 2018,” she said.

In 2018, the concept of NESCAFE KICKSTART was slightly different from the previous year.This year, she added, two teams from FKH were Noviana Arifin and Jenny Melinda who collaborated with various other parties for the technology and design.However, theproject leader were from FKH UNAIR students.

“This year, I did not participate because the previous year was awinner,” she added.

Jenny Melinda, a member of the team revealed that in NESCAFE KICKSTART 2018 competition, her team developed an application platform called Hi Vet that provides solutions to pet owners on raising their pets.It can be done through a variety of service features and goods that can bedownloaded freeat google play store.

“This app connects pet owners and pet lover with veterinarians and comes with e-commerce features.Services include House Calling Vet (by Appointment) services, nearest veterinarian location map, grooming, veterinary consultation, and pet needs product commerce such as accessories, pet food and others, “said Jenny.

On the same occasion, Hanifa Nanda added that for new app Hi Vet, some features are not perfect yet.

“Initially there was financial reason, but after getting funding from nescafe we 媼perfected the app immediately because there are various offers of cooperation to develop this Hi Vet application,” she explained.

Tri Siwi Agustina, coordinator of entrepreneurship PPKK UNAIR revealed, although it was less maximal in dissemination, it did not become a barrier for students to be able to present UNAIR檚 name to the prestigious event like Nescafe event.

“There are many prestigious business competition in Indonesia, we want to share with other UNAIR friends who excel in the field of business,” said Siwi.
