UNAIR NEWS Student Activity Unit(UKM)Airlangga has made another achievement. This time, in UTI Pro National Taekwondo Championship Bupati Sleman Cup II 2017held on April 15-16, seven students won three gold and three bronze medals and one Best Women Senior achievement.
In the championship, Adelia Dwi P. (Faculty of Public Health, 2015) won the gold medal for Kyorugi Senior as well as appointed as Best Women Senior, Kurniawan Bimo (Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, 2015) won the third place for Kyorugi Senior, and Lilis Dwi E (Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, 2015) and Naziati Syafira (Faculty of Vocational Studies, 2014) won the third place for Kyorugi Senior.
淚 am thankful that even with limited preparations due to midterm exam, I could win a medal for UNAIR and UKM Taekwondo, and a bonus as Best Senior for the championship, stated Adelia Dwi Pratiwi as one of the winners and the Head of UKM Taekwondo.
Even though the participants were dominated by participants from East Java, Central Java, West Java and Yogyakarta Special Region, there were also participants from Papua. With only two months of intensive trainings, UNAIR team檚 hardwork has come to fruition.
淓ven thorugh we practiced in the morning and in the afternoon until night, we still have to manage our time for our studies. Especially when we were in the middle of the midterm, we practiced hard and must be ready for exam is our challenge in UKM, explained Adelia.
In the same year with UTI Pro Taekwondo Championship, UKM Taekwondo has won eight golds, six silvers, six bronzes in National Airlangga Cup III. (*)
