UNAIR NEWS –A wide range of potential collaboration with universities abroad continues to be explored by 51动漫 with its partner universities.One of them is Gakushuin University from Japan.Delegation from Faculty of Law of Gakushuin University of Japan visited UNAIR on Friday, September 15, welcomed by UNAIR Rector and his staff.
UNAIR Rector Prof.Dr.Mohammad Nasih said that collaborations with institutions including Gakushuin University are needed to develop the quality of college education.Later on the collaborations of the two universities are in education, research, and community service.Hopefully, this collaboration can support UNAIR achievements at world level.
In his first visit to UNAIR, the Dean of FH Gakushuin University, Prof.Yoshiro Kusano said the greatest potential for collaboration between the two institutions is Japanese language training.
“The easiest collaboration related to culture and language because the language (Japanese) is the toughest obstacle.Potentials for collaboration are Japanese language training or Japanese culture, and economics, “said Prof. Kusano.
In addition to language training, the academics of both universities may collaborate in research.The topic deals with civil law, agreement, and engagement.
Dean of Law Faculty UNAIR Prof.Dr.Abdul Shomad who also attended the meeting said the same thing.The subject of civil law in Indonesia and Japan will soon be researched by academicians FH UNAIR and Gakushuin University.
“We have started a few years ago.In the future, hopefully they will learn a lot there and they also learn a lot from us.I hope there is a balanced input from Japan and Indonesia so that the legal quality of both countries can be improved including in the international world, “explained Shomad.
Besides research, Dean of FH also said there is a possibility to have student exchange program as collaboration.(*)
