UNAIR NEWS – Nikmatus Sa檃dah is a woman who perseveres in striving for her goals. In order to complete her master education, the woman who was born in August 1990 was willing to go to lectures during her pregnancy. However, she was able to become the best graduate of the Faculty of Medicine, 51动漫 with 3.73 GPA.
The first moment of college was also the first moment of pregnancy.For her, it is the memorable experience for two years of studying Basic Medical Science (IKD) in FK UNAIR.
“I feel the early trimester symptoms, such as dizziness and drowsiness when I started my study. Luckily, lecturers and friends understood with my condition,” she said.
In fact, during her pregnancy, Nikma often feel stomach cramps or false contractions during classes.
“This often made my classmates panic.They worry that I would give birth in class and suddenly become their patient, ” she said.
Nikma finally gave birth to a boy named Muhammad Ahnaf Al Fatih in the middle of the second semester.But because the task and obligation as students cannot be abandoned, ten days after giving birth she returned to campus, attended lectures and final exam of the semester.
Her struggle as a mother does not stop there.Nikma is determined to perfect her role by giving exclusive breastfeeding for 6 months.Breastfeeding and lectures are her priorities.Her struggles have come into fruition.Besides being able to give milk to the baby until the age of 14 months, Nikma also successfully completed her master education well.
“My greatest motivation to complete the study that I can take care of my own child without bothering the parents anymore.And when I am free, I can accompany my child to play, see every moment of them growing up, “said lecturer at the Faculty of Dental Medicine, Institute of Health Sciences Bhakti Wiyata, Kediri.(*)
