UNAIR NEWSÌý“ It was not the first time for Accounting Student Association Off Main Campus Program (HMA PSDKU) in Banyuwangi to hold a work program that aims to strengthen the sense of kinship between Accounting students.ÌýOne of them is Fun Sport event from the Internal Department.ÌýThe activity is always expected by PSDKU Accounting students as recreation activities from tiring lectures and assignments, as well as being a gathering event between classes.
To NEWSÌýon Wednesday, May 8, 2019, Nur Rezza Mahardicka Saputra as the head of the event said that this year’s Fun Sport was themed “Healthy Family, Strong Ties”.ÌýAccording to him, sports is just a medium for HMA PSDKU Banyuwangi to strengthen ties between classes in Accounting program.
“This activity aims to be a gathering forum from all classes so they can get to know each other and to develop a sense of friendship among Accounting students, and to foster accounting cultures, family, pride, care and responsibility (3K 1T),” he explained.
He also explained that the activity was held for several days from 26 to 28 April and continued on 3, 4 and 5 May.ÌýThere were five sports competed, futsal, basketball, chess, volleyball and badminton.ÌýThere was also bestÌýsupporterÌýcompetition.
“The event was closed with a joint exercise and winner awarding session.ÌýAndÌýAlhamdulillah, the enthusiasm of PSDKU Accounting students was quite high, more than fifty percent of students participated in the competition we held, “he explained.
The results, the overall championship was won by 2016 class, best supporters by class 2018, futsal by Accounting 2018, badminton by class 2016, volleyball by class 2016, chess by class 2017, women’s basketball by class 2017, men’s basketball by 2016 class.
“Hopefully this activity can strengthen the ties of PSDKU Accounting family.ÌýIt would be better if it develops interest to compete in sports on campus and off campus, a champion for us all,” concluded Reza.Ìý(*)
