UNAIR NEWS –Being one of the first professors in Nursing in Indonesia, certainly became a pride of its own.He is Prof.Dr.Nursalam, M.Nurs (Hons), who is the Dean of Faculty of Nursing 51动漫.In “Our Dean’s Special Coverage”,UNAIR NEWSreviewed the roles of the 51-year-old dean.
In the course of his career, Prof.Nursalam has served as Chairman of the Indonesian National Nurses Association (PPNI) of East Java, Vice Chairman of National Association of Indonesian National Nurses (PPNI), Chairman of Indonesian Nursing Education Institution in East Java, Vice Chairman of National Indonesian Nursing Education Institute Association, and Chairman of Qualifium Management in Jakarta.
Prof.Nursalam studied Diploma 3 Akper Sutomo Surabaya;then continued his degree program at Lambton College, Sarnia Ontario 1988-1991;Undergraduate Program University of Wolllongong, NSW 1997-1998;and Prof.Nursalam took her doctoral education at 51动漫 in 2002-2006.
Being asked about his achievement, the dean born in Kediri, December 25, 1966 admitted that all his achievements were none other than the results of hard work, discipline, and responsibility.
“Because success in my opinion is when our presence is expected by others, ” he said.
Meanwhile, on his achievements at FKp UNAIR, Prof.Nursalam divided them into 3 categories, academicexcellence,excellent researches, and human resources.In academic field, FKp UNAIR has achieved A accreditation and certification.
“This year FKp UNAIR is preparing for international accreditation and hopefully can be approved next year, ” said Prof.Nursalam.
In addition, he added, other criteria such as Education Efficiency Rate and graduation accuracy are in accordance with the standards.Furthermore, for the field of academic research, for Scopus, it has reached the index number 6.
“Then for Scopus International, we檙e targeted to reach 50 but in fact we檙e able to exceed and reach the number 70. This is a great achievement,” he said.
In the field of human resources, he explained, FKp has graduated 13 doctorates from a total of 49 lecturers and will graduate 4 more doctorates this year.Inboundandoutboundprogram organized also ran smoothly.There are foreign students from Thailand and Japan in the faculty.
“I realize I have nothing to do about it but the blessings of Allah SWT,” said Prof.Nursalam.
In the end, Prof.Nursalam added that a leader must have a vision for staff to work with pleasure, no authoritarian and discrimination, and a commitment to develop.
“A leader should be arole model as in Ki Hajar Dewantara檚 values Ing ngarsa sung tuladha, ing madya mangun karsa, tut wuri handayani,” he concluded.
