UNAIR NEWS Alumni Association of 51 (IKA UA) was chosen and trusted by PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk, in an effort to promote cashless society throughBRIZZI Co Brandingwith alumni association of universities.
The acceleration of cashless societyprogram by the government was marked with an MoU signing session between IKA UNAIR and Bank BRI, in XXI Lounge, Plaza Senayan 4th floor, Jl. Asia Afrika Lot 18, Senayan Jakarta, Friday, February 2. Bank BRI was represented by Director of Consumers, Handayani, and IKA-UNAIR by the Head of PP IKA Drs. Ec. Haryanto Basoeni.
There was also Director of Medium, Corporation Credit and BUMN Bank BRI Kuswiyoto, Commissioner Ahmad Hidayat, Head of IKA UNAIR DKI Jakarta Dwi Wahyudi, and other officials such as Hari Purnomo, Ahmad Cholis Hamzah, Edy Utomo, Pribadi Archam, and many others.
In his speech, Handayani explained that the cooperation with IKA UNAIR was designed since 2017, to provide IKA UA Membership Card that works as e-money. fungsi Kartu IKA-UA sekaligus sebagai uang elektronik. It can be used for paying toll, Trans Jakarta,commuter line, and transactions in partner merchantsof BRI.
BRI is committed with Alumni Association of 51 by using electronic money BRIZZI as an effort to promote e-money use among alumni, added Handayani, who has signed similar MoU a day before with Indonesian Tennis Association (PELTI).
She hoped that alumni UNAIR that reaches 100 thousand people can have membership BRIZZI card. The design is of the card shows Floating Hospital Ksatria Airlangga.
Floating Hospital Ksatria Airlangga is one of IKA UNAIR contributions for Indonesia by providing healthcare service for the outermost islands in Indonesia. There is an inscription on the card, Airlangga Mengarungi Samudra, Menyelamatkan Anak Bangsa.
Head of IKA-UA DKI Jakarta , Dwi Wahyudi also hoped that the cooperation with BRI can be the first step to cooperate with other institutions. He was optimistic that 100 thousand alumni in various regions will support the cashless society national program.
Meanwhile the Head of IKA UNAIR Haryanto Basoeni also responded positively with this cooperation. He hoped that alumni association can support the program. The members are expected to use BRIZZI card which is targeted 2.5 million cards this year as stated by Handayani. (*)
