UNAIR NEWS听 51动漫 Alumni Association (IKA-UA) realize that there has been advancement in many sectors in Indonesia, albeit imperfect. Knowing that in the future challenges are going to be rough for the nation, whether in terms of socio-domestic politic dynamics or fast global geo-politic; as it happens in the USA, Europe and other regions, IKA-UA proposes their Leading Thoughts to the government about Nation Independency and Competitiveness.
漌e are going to deliver our leading thoughts to the government as an input from Unair Alumni Association, said Drs. Ec. Haryanto Basoeni, Chairman I IKA-UA Central Executive, after declaring IKA-UA Leading Thoughts, during East Java IKA-UA inauguration, at Universitas Trunojoyo Madura (UTM), Saturday (4/2).
He confirmed that IKA-UA leading thoughts about Independency and Competitiveness stem from Discussion Group Forum (FGD) IKA-UA which base their thought on the fact that globalization era and free trade as well as fiercer competitive atmosphere call for independency and competitiveness concept if Indonesia wants to emerge as a winner.
Complex future challenges must be seen as an opportunity that must be used for the prosperity of the nation. For the nation to be able to grab the opportunity, resources, whether natural resources, human resources or cultural resources must be maximized by utilizing great potentials owned by the country, including various universities competence, one of which is 51动漫, which, with its alumni support is a superior competence from one of the oldest universities in Indonesia.
漈here are four main points proposed by IKA-UA, Health Sector, Social Sector, Law Sector and Technology Sector, asserted Haryanto Basyoeni.
Health Sector
In health sector, IKA-UA propose that the government continue to improve their health service in an even-handed way throughout Indonesia, especially the most remote area. For this cause UNAIR is planning to build Floating Hospital (RSA) to help public health service in remote areas, especially under-developed ones.
Under the fame of UNAIR Faculty of Medicines, health equality in Indonesia will certainly be realized. In this case, every health potential sectors such as psychology, civil health will fully be involved. In this health sector development, IKA-UA suggest that the government must focus on health promotion as well as preventive because the two factors are really important.
Moreover, the government is hoped to be able to maximize UA superiority in health sectors, one of which is Institute of Tropical Disease听which, in 2016 won an honor from IPTEK Institutional General Director, just like they did in 2012 as Technology and Science Favored Center (PUI).
IKA-UA hoped the government will also pay attention to the on-going problems in the country, such as imbalanced and poor infrastructure. Most big hospitals and Public Health Centers are still located in big cities, and poor distribution of health labors.
In social sector, IKA-UA see economic growth has been quite well at about 5%, which is supported by more consumptive spending. Yet, if economic growth relies only on consumption factor, which nota bene听supplied by importing goods, then the economic growth is yet to be improved.
Import is still needed nowadays it檚 true, because raw materials and industrial machineries still have to be imported. In this light the government has to push economic growth in production sector by strengthening various industries so that Indonesia will not be dependent on foreign countries.
漌e think Indonesia must keep on strengthening its economic foundation in public sector,听private sector,听and governmental management, he added.
According to UNAIR graduates, the government must use land efficiently by referring to the existing layout to prosper the nation. Agrarian reform must be done.
