UNAIR NEWS “The protocol coordinator of the 51¶¯Âþ Information and Public Relations Center (PIH), Aditya Gita Rohmatulloh, defined independence in a general view. However, in its 72nd years of Independence, Indonesian should not lose its nationalism.
UNAIR employee who is used to accompany the leadership said that the main challenge faced by the Indonesian is how to fill the independence. There is a lack of awareness on the importance of unity in the nation.
“Social media makes everyone easy to comment and judge without thinking. Problems caused by public officials and make the people distrust them even more, people also prioritize their ethnic, religious, and interests more than the national interests, “said UNAIR’s Student Regiment Commander in 2012.
Therefore, according to him the next generation must be ready to give the right solutions for the progress of nation.
IN the 72nd years of Independence, Adit hoped that Indonesia can be independent and stand on its own feet.
“This nation should be able to stand on its own feet. Indonesia must be host in its own country. It is quite disappointing when we see some imported goods. It’s as if we have not been independent in our own country, “he said.
Therefore, UNAIR as an education institution is expected to produce the next generation which can make Indonesia truly independent.
“UNAIR should be able to produce the next generation of nation nationalism and build Indonesia in order to compete in the international scene and make progress together,” said alumnus Faculty of Fisheries and Marine UNAIR.
To fill the independence, as an employee helping to build the university, he wanted to take part in maintaining the unity of NKRI and upholding the values ‹‹of Bhinneka Tunggal Ika.
“Instill the value of tolerance, justice, mutual cooperation in everyday activities. By living in harmony with neighbors of different tribes, religions, races, and among groups. It can instill a sense of unity and national unity, “he concluded. (*)
