UNAIR NEWS – Mother’s Prayer is the best prayer.It is proved by Jesika Wulandari, student of S1 Faculty of Public Health (FKM) became the best graduates in March 2018. Jesika achieved 3.88 GPA.
“The struggle during college was very colorful.The most stressful was when rejected in various companies to conduct thesis research.I was given hoped but then rejected by four companies, “he said.
However, thanks to the sincere wishes of her mother, the obstacles can be resolved.She managed to get a company that was willing to be a place of research and matched the criteria of her thesis.
Jesika studied“The Impact of a Heat Working Climate on Physiological and Psychological Responses of Labor.”She studied about it because the workers were not getting the company’s attention on the impact of hot working climate especially, the company with production process.
“Usually the dangers of noise, vibration, lighting, etc. are getting more attention.Though the impact of hot work climate is more dangerous.It may cause various health problems, both physical and psychic.In fact, workers could die ofheat strokeor heart attack, “explained the student born in Ponorogo.
During her research, she found out many workers complained of heat climate disorders.For example, such as prickly heat, dehydration, emotional, and convulsions.Now Jesika is busy making scientific articles from the research results to be useful for others.
The woman keen on reading wanted to find S2 scholarship, especially from individuals, not from institutions.“Work hard, be diligent, and do not complain.If you fail, learn more and be more active.Therefore, the sign of your efforts has not been maximized, ” she explained.
“We cannot count how many obstacles in college.But if we want to keep trying,Godwilling, we will be successful.Good luck!” the message is for students who are still studying.(*)
