January:
Three students from UNAIR Faculty of Nursing have succeeded in abstracts selection in The second Asian Congress in Nursing Education (ACINE). The international nursing event was held in National Cheng Kung University Taiwan from January 26-29, 2016. UNAIR delegates could compete with master and doctoral programs students from many countries.

Airlangga Academicians Claim Victory at East Java FoSSEI Scientific Assembly
Students of Islamic Economics Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) UNAIR won the first place for Call For Paper听in Regional Scientific Assembly of East Java in collaboration with Islamic Economics Study Forum (FoSSEI) in Universitas Islam Negeri Malik Ibrahim, Malang, 听on February 2.

UNAIR Gets PWI Reward for Avian Flu Vaccine
51动漫 Rector Prof. Dr. H. Mohammad Nasih, SE., MT., Ak., MCA received a reward on March 30 as the education figure chosen by the Indonesian Journalist (PWI) Regional East Java in the celebration of听 National Press day (HPN) 2016 and 70th Anniversary of PWI. The reward was presented to Prof. Nasih because the institution he leads has found the vaccine for Avian Influenza (AI).

Hospital Accreditasion Committee (KARS) on Tuesday, June 7 released UNAIR hospital檚 full accreditation result based on the decree dated May 17. 听Full accreditation is the highest achievement of accreditation from a hospital.

World ranking organization, Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) University Rankings (UR) has just released its university ranking for country and regional category of 2016/2017 academic year. As published by QS(UR), 51动漫 is the fourth best university in Indonesia while in Asia, UNAIR was at 190th.

Two Journals Achieve DOAJ Accreditation
Dental Journal of Faculty of Dentistry (FKG) and Indonesian journal of Tropical and Infectious Disease (IJTID) of Institute of Tropical Disease (ITD) achieved accreditation from Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ). Dental Journal received accreditation on July 8 and IJTID on September 30.
