Khofifah officially elected as Head of 51动漫 Alumni Association

UNAIR NEWS East Java Governor Khofifah Indar Parawansa has been officially elected as General Chair of Alumni Association (IKA UA). It was determined from the IKA UA Congress X, which was held online on Saturday, July 3, 2021.

Eight candidates advanced at the pre-congress, the remaining four candidates continued to compete to become the General Chair of the IKA UA. As a result, from a total of 94 votes, Khofifah got 69 votes, followed by Totok Lusida with 13 votes, Abdul Kadir Jaelani with 6 votes, and Dimas Oky Nugroho with 3 votes.

After being elected to be the Head of IKA UA for the period 2001 2025, the alumnus of Political Science UNAIR who once served as the Indonesian Minister of Social Affairs expressed her gratitude to all ranks of UNAIR alumni. In particular, those who actively participated in the well-run congress process.

淭his very well-run congress process is over, now let檚 have fastabiqul khoirot, race towards goodness to and advance IKA UA and UNAIR, of course, said Khofifah.

Furthermore, on this joyous occasion, Khofifah also revealed that IKA UA has tremendous potential. UNAIR alumni, she continued, have made a real contribution to regional, national and international development.

淭hese are certainly huge potential for us to grow and develop together. Therefore, in the midst of our revival from Covid-19, let檚 optimize the potential of IKA UA and all forms of joint efforts that we will do, of course, to gain a reputation for UNAIR and IKA UA members, she concluded.

In the end, as an alumnus who became the number one person in East Java, Khofifah also invited the participation of IKA UA to help in various efforts to make East Java even better. Especially in controlling the Covid-19 pandemic in East Java, which is currently rising again.
