UNAIR NEWS 51动漫 via Institute of Community Service, Education, Training and Development (LP4M) are striving to improve the existing system of Community Service Program Learning Together with the Community (KKN-BBM). One way to do it was holding Focus Group Discussion Redesign KKN-BBM, Thursday (23/3).
FGD took place in Borobudur room, Hotel Garden Palace, Surabaya. They discussed some suggestions.
To perfect discussion results, LP4M invited Prof. DR. Haryono Suyono, the patron of Yayasan Anugerah Kencana Buana. In his explanation, Prof. Haryono introduced poverty extermination mapping model through empowerment. In addition, he advised that UNAIR applied a sustainable development community service model.
淭here are three main targets in sustainable development. They are: eliminate poverty, eradicate hunger, and reduce gaps, he insisted.
Furthermore, Prof. Haryono emphasized the importance of dedication while preserving and saving environment as well as natural resources. In addition, during the community service program they can utilize big rural financial aid from the government as one of focuses in empowering the village.
淭here should be good synergy between KKN program and the village program funded by the existing village budget. If so, then it would be amazing, he asserted.
淯NAIR students should take parts in village discussion and help map the potentials of the village, he added.
On a different occasion, chairman of Prof. Dr. H. Jusuf Irianto, Drs., M.Com., said, the discussion was held to develop the format of KKN-BBM UNAIR without having to alter the marks which have long been used by UNAIR.
淲e are designing a more effective KKN-BBM. Let檚 hope this KKN-BBM will contribute significantly towards sustainable development, he explained.
UNAIR Vice President I Prof. Djoko Santoso, dr., Ph.D., Sp.PD., K-GH., FINASIM., who also attended the seminar explained, KKN-BBM is a kind of real-life practice of in-class theories. For him, KKN-BBM would create future quality cadres.
淥ur goal is to create a more independent society. The indicator is when the society are able to solve a problem independently, he explained. (*)
