UNAIR NEWS –In order to support the implementation of Minister of Finance Regulation No. 106 / PMK.2 / 2016 and Pemenristekdikti Number 69 Year 2006, Institute of Research and Innovation 51动漫, General Directorate of Research and Development Reinforcement and Education and Training Center of Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education with National Research Reviewer (RPN), along with Quantum HRM International, as well as the National Standardization Agency held a Certified Research Reviewer Training for UNAIR lecturers on 24-27 October 2017.
In the event held at the Hotel Swiss-Belinn Surabaya, 50 research lecturers who have become reviewers were appointed directly by the LPI UNAIR. Prof.Hery Purnobasuki, M.Si., Ph.D., as the Head of LPI UNAIR said that the collaborative event with the central government was aimed to produce honest and professional research reviewers in assessing the feasibility of research proposals and research outputs.
“All of these should be standardized.We have chosen the research lecturers with thorough considerations, “he explained.
The training was followed with a feasibility test for reviewers, was expected to produce research lecturers who are ready to commit and be responsible as reviewers.For Hery, with its lecturer certifications, the result of research proposals can be maximized in the future.
“Becoming a certified reviewer brings greater demand.So,the research proposals will actually produce real results and not bring adverse effects to the country, ” he added.
The professor of FST UNAIR also added, with the certificate, lecturers who will become reviewers can encourage UNAIR researchers to produce excellent researches.Moreover, the research lecturers as reviewers will also improve well.
“There are a lot of advantages we will all get.At faculty level, for example, the other lecturers can be directed and encouraged more to conduct researches, “he explained.
Regarding the availability of education research fund from the country, Prof.Ocky Karna Radjasa, Director of Research and Community Service Kemenristekdikti as the speaker said, in recent years the government’s budget is focused on infrastructure development.However, his division continues to optimize the availability of funds to boost research climate in Indonesia.
“However, we reduce the funds for the independent universities, because they can manage finances and have substantial funds.But we give them all for the work unit universities, “he explained.
