UNAIR NEWS As an effort of internationalization 51动漫 (UNAIR) welcomed collaboration offer from National Chung Hsing University, Taiwan. The visiting delegate was welcomed in Assembly Room A, on Tuesday, August 30.
The delegate of National Chung Hsing University who visited UNAIR was Vincentius Surya Kurnia Adi as the Associate Professor Department of Chemical Engineering. The man known as Adi is the educational staff in National Chung Hsing University from Indonesia. He was sent here to introduce the university in Taichung, Taiwan to some universities in Indonesia.
The visit from National Chung Hsing University was welcomed well by Acting Vice Rector III Prof. Hery Purnobasuki, M.Si., Ph.D, Head of International Office and Partnership UNAIR Dian Ekowati., Ph.D, representative of Directorate of Education, Faculty of Law , Faculty of Science and Technology (FST) and Faculty of Veterinary Medicine (FKH).
淚 am here as the representative of NCHU, but I also want to discuss Taiwan potentials from the perspective of Indonesian. NCHU is a Top Ranked university on agriculture and science in Taiwan. There are a lot of natural resources which also can be used by Indonesian students. Unfortunately, Indonesian doesn檛 know about this yet, said Adi.
Adi also added that NCHU has great potentials which can be used for students or lecturers researches. NCHU has four artificial forests and two plantations for its students studies.
In the occasion, Prof. Hery who is also the Head of Research and Innovation Institute UNAIR said that UNAIR cooperation with NCHU will be utilized at best by researchers in research collaboration or international scientific journal publications.
Similar with Prof. Hery, Dian also said that there are potentials in the cooperation of UNAIR and NCHU. In her opinion, UNAIR and NCHU have similarities in their programs. Therefore, Dian hoped that faculty can contribute actively in the cooperation.
淗opefully, the cooperation of UNAIR and NCHU will run well and continuously. UNAIR can gain reputation at international level and it can boost our readiness to welcome future international cooperation, said Dian.
Dian added that the potential cooperation of UNAIR and NCHU is in forms of student exchange or summer course and research collaborations between UNAIR and NCHU. (*)
