UNAIR NEWS– Responding to the challenges of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 era, Postgraduate School (SPS)(UNAIR) officially opened some non-degree program, Executive Learning Hub (ELH) on Tuesday, January 26, 2021.听In theonline launching of theprogram, the Director of SPS UNAIR Prof.听Badri Munir Sukoco, SE, MBA., Ph.D revealed that the presence of ELH is a form of effort to realize government’s agenda in developing human resources.
“This program is so important because in terms of human resources, Indonesia is still behind.听Latest report, ourglobal competitivenessdropped to 50th in the world.听It can affect the economy and per capita income.听Therefore, improving the competence of our workforce is very important, “said Prof.听Badri.
The ELH program itself is a service program for executives, directors, managers, academics, government employees, students, and other individuals who are interested inupgradingtheir knowledge.听T. Aria Auliandri, SE, M.Sc.听as the ELH Manager explained that this program would offer 23 courses or trainings in various fields that could improveparticipantcompetencies andskills.
“The training will include training based on business management, law, academic writing, anddata science.听We arrange various trainings according to the current situation as well as research on problems in several agencies and companies,“he added.
Several types of training include Academic Writing Academy, Change Management, Legislative Regulation Drafting, Training on Business Contract and Public Contract Drafting, Training on Legal Aspects of Procurement of Goods / Services and Utilization of Goods in BUMN / BUMD, Capacity Building for Legislative Members, and Training on Alternative Dispute Solving in Business.听Meanwhile, other training coversdata sciencetopicsin business and medical,data analysisat various levels, and legal topics covering various fields.
The ELH program itself will entirely be held online and provided by tutors who are experienced in their fields. ELH tutors who are also the best UNAIR lecturers have conceptual competence and experience as practitioners and consultants in government and private sector.
Even though it has just beenlaunchedand the program will start on February 16, 2021, Aria revealed that several participants have registered fortheELHshort courses.听“Our preparation was three full months, and we are ready to provide the best service to improve competence andskills.听So participants who take part in this program will not only receive the benefits of knowledge, but also certificates, training materials, and consultations, “he concluded.
