UNAIR NEWS –Futsal nowadays is very popular in the society so any tournaments held will invite many teams to compete, either regional or national tournaments. This sport is identical with youngsters and students.
But in Futsal Championship Series Kapolres Cup 2016, not only youngsters participated, grown-ups also participated, some of them were Lecturers and Staff PDD Universitas Banyuwangi team.
The lecturers and staff of administration PDD UNAIR Banyuwangi joined because they wanted to contribute. Even though there were no lecturers with backgrounds as a futsal player, it did not make their spirit and motivation down to participate among 48 teams competing for Kapolres Banyuwangi trophy. The teams participating were from the government, private parties and students in Banyuwangi.
淎s the team manager, I檓 pleased with this lecturer and staff PDD UNAIR Banyuwangi futsal team contribution. Skill and collectivity of the team is not below other teams, said Drh. Ragil, team manager as well as player of the phenomenal team.
淭his tournament can be used as a sounding or promotion media for PDD Banyuwangi to all Banyuwangi people,: added Ragil.
It was the first event followed by this futsal team consisting of leacturers of each program and staff. The objective was to strengthen ties between UNAIR and SKPD and private companies in the city of 淪unrise van Java, added Suci, a lecturer of water management UNAIR Banyuwangi.
