UNAIR NEWS:听Thousands jobseekers and students looking for scholarship overflowed 淎irlangga Career Fair (ACF) XXVI, Scholarship & Entrepreneur EXPO,听in Airlangga Convention Center (ACC), Campus C UNAIR Jl. Dr. Ir. Soekarno, Mulyorejo, Thursday, March 31. They had to stand in a long line which ended outside the building. To reduce their fatigue and thirst in scorching hot day, Information and Public Relations (PIH) UNAIR gave out drinking water in cups.
滷or first day of ACF, we provided 15 boxes of drinking water in cups, but we just used 10 boxes only, said Dian Wirawan Norazis, PIH UNAIR staff in protocol division who with other staff and security guards giving out the drinking water.
According to Dian, their mannerism mostly pleased. They had to stand in a long line under the scorching hot sun. For the visitors who came prepared, they did not take the offered water but the ones without preparation mostly received PIH staff檚 water.
淭hank you, it檚 great help to reduce my thirst, said Ridwansyah, one of D3 graduates of a university in Surabaya who is looking for a job in ACF UNAIR.
淐oincidentally I forgot to buy, but I stood in line instead of buying water as it檚 better than at the back of the line. Thanks for the drink, said Riyanti, a jobseeker from Sidoarjo.
Umar, other PIH staff who also gave out drinking water, said that on the second day of 26th ACF, Friday April 1 is going to provide some water for the visitors of 听听淎irlangga Career Fair (ACF) XXVI, Scholarship & Entrepreneur EXPO XXVI in ACC campus C Mulyorejo Surabaya. This event is going to end on April 2 2016.(*)
