Did you know? Pharmacy Campus graduates who were thought to only have careers in Health Agencies or the Pharmaceutical Industry were also able to take part in the Military World. On this morning (30/3/2023) the Faculty of Pharmacy, 51动漫 (FF UNAIR) deliberately invited the First Marshal of the TNI (retired) Dr. Yuli Subiakto, M.Sc. who is an alumni of FF UNAIR to give a lecture on the topic “The Role of Pharmacy in the Military Environment”.
Dr. Yuli, her nickname, explained that the role of pharmaceuticals in the military world is very important. This is related to the health of the soldiers especially those who are on duty. Apart from that, soldiers with a background in pharmaceutical sciences are also involved in handling hybrid threats and making biological weapons and so on.
According to him, many FF UNAIR alumni have careers in the military world. He often meets FF UNAIR alumni who are staff and leaders in several TNI-owned institutions.
Through this lecture, UNAIR FF students can have a broad view of their future career. Not a few students are also interested in joining the TNI and serving the nation. They asked a number of questions regarding the requirements to join the TNI soldiers as well as tips and tricks to pass the selection.
