FF UNAIR also participated in the 2023 ICI Surabaya Exhibition
As the best Pharmacy Faculty in Indonesia, the Faculty of Pharmacy, Airlangga University (FF UNAIR) often actively participates in many activities both on a national and international scale. On 7-8 June 2023, FF UNAIR also did not want to miss the opportunity to take part in the Indonesian Cosmetic Ingredients (ICI) Surabaya 2023 activities.
The activity which was held at the Grand City Exhibition Hall Surabaya was an exhibition as well as a seminar related to raw materials and developments in cosmetic technology. This activity is deliberately held by Perkosmi Indonesia every year so that personal care products and specialty raw materials in Indonesia are famous, considering the large number of foreign companies that visit this activity.
FF UNAIR’s involvement in this activity was of course due to the active role of the FF UNAIR Cosmetics Research Group. The research group chaired by Prof. Dr. apt. Widji Soeratri, DEA. This was invited directly by the ICI Surabaya 2023 committee to showcase products made by FF UNAIR, especially cosmetics.
Starting from lotion, serum, cream and many other products made by the FF UNAIR academic community on display in the display case. The FF UNAIR booth was also deliberately designed to be eye-catching and contemporary, so it was not surprising that many visitors immediately stopped at the FF UNAIR booth.
The visitors looked very enthusiastic about the products on display at the FF UNAIR booth, they didn’t even hesitate to try these products on their skin. Apart from that, visitors also asked a lot about cosmetics-related testing that the FF UNAIR Cosmetics Research Group can carry out.
Lecturers and students who provide detailed and friendly explanations seem to make visitors feel more at home and the number of visits to the FF UNAIR booth continues to increase. As a thank you and also for promotion, every visitor who came to the FF UNAIR booth was given an attractive goodie bag containing souvenirs and FF UNAIR products.
Through this activity, FF UNAIR and the Cosmetics Research Group Team became increasingly confident in continuing to commit to the development of cosmetics.
