Hernowo also said that during the trial simulation, it was evident that the “players” from Bank Indonesia witnesses were still nervous about delivering statements. Therefore it was beneficial for the Inhouse Training program held at FH UNAIR. Hernowo also explained why he chose FH UNAIR, because as a Faculty of Law, which has a myriad of achievements, especially in the field of moot court.

Cani, the person in charge of the trial simulation and part of KPS FH UNAIR, said that there were 26 people present at the trial simulation, both from FH UNAIR and Bank Indonesia. “With approximately 2 months to compile cases, development to trial trials, this is a challenge and difficulty for us, so we also gain new learning and experience through the trial simulation,” Cani said. Remember that in preparing for the trial simulation, KPS FH UNAIR also consulted with a lecturer who is an expert in trial practice, namely Iqbal Felisiano, S.H., LL.M.

“Students who play a role in this trial simulation are very good at playing their roles in trials, such as judges, prosecutors, and others, and they are also good at making cases in such a way so that we can make lessons that will later be implemented in real trials,” Hernowo said. KPS FH UNAIR, through Cani, also expressed gratitude and hopes for Bank Indonesia to work together again in terms of moot court; with the closing of the trial simulation process KPS FH UNAIR did not forget to convey its proud jargon “KPS, JAYA” as encouragement and marked the end of the trial simulation.
