Dr. Amira collaborated with Panjab University on the Joint Class Program with Prof. Dr. Shruti Bedi.
UNAIR initiates the Joint Class Program in 2022 by adopting the concept of Collaborative Online International Learning or COIL. The Joint Class Program is expected to develop intercultural competence and digital skills for academics through collaborative learning activities.
Each UNAIR Joint Class Program participant will be nominated to work with partner universities abroad whose subjects or programs have courses or programs equivalent to those at UNAIR. Some of the Joint Class programs running with other faculties at UNAIR are Introduction to Accounting 1 in collaboration with Universiti Teknologi MARA, Joint Class of Advanced and Multidisciplinary Technology Faculties in collaboration with Universiti Putra Malaysia, Cost Accounting in partnership with University Mandakh, and other classes.
Meanwhile, the Joint Class Program on Criminology Law initiated by Dr. Amira consisted of Criminology and Trans Organization Crime courses and was held in three meetings.
“The goal of this program is the U2U or University to University cooperation agreement,” said Dr. Amira.
Apart from classes, this program also provides student activities such as writing projects for academics and this program is fully funded by Airlangga Global Engagement. Apart from the Joint Class Program on Criminology Law, one of the programs related to law is the Joint Lecture Program: Juvenile Justice in collaboration with the University of Warsaw, Poland. Academics participating in the Joint Class Program will receive benefits in the form of inbound student and staff mobility, incentives, and certificates.
