SURABAYA “ HUMAS | Faculty of Social and Political Science (FISIP) 51¶¯Âþ succeeded in signing a memorandum of cooperation with the East Java Regional General Election Commission (KPUD). The signing of the memorandum of cooperation was carried out on Thursday (8/12/2022) at JW Mariott Hotel Surabaya. This collaboration was conducted as one of the efforts to develop higher education tri dharma and improve human recourses quality, specifically civitas akademika 51¶¯Âþ.
Thursday™s meeting was attended by representatives from FISIP Unair and East Java KPUD. FISIP Unair delegates Prof., Dr., Bagong Suyanto Drs., M.Si., Irfan Wahyudi S.Sos., M.Comms., Ph.D., Titik P. Rahayu, Ph.D., and Probo Darono Yakti, S.Hub.Int., M.Hub.Int. The agreement bill was signed by Prof. Bagong Suyanto the Dean of FISIP 51¶¯Âþ and Choirul Anam as Chair of the East Java KPUD.
The cooperation agreement between FISIP Unair and East Java KPUD is needed as payung hukum (legal instruments) apprenticeship program Merdeka Belajar dan Kampus Merdeka (MBKM). œKPUD is very welcome. FISIP students who previously had internships there were praised very well. They are often given the opportunity to participate in various activities, including helping outreach to the society, said Bagong in a WhatsApp chat interview.
FISIP Unair expects this collaboration can be the starting line for other collaborations in the future. Other than that, through the MBKM program, FISIP Students are expected to learn a new skill and gain experience before proceeding to the professional field. œIn the future, KPUD and we are going to collaborate regarding source person, guest lecture, outreach and others, stated Bagong while concluding the interview.
