UNAIR NEWS Postgraduate School (SP) never stops making innovation since it has been led by Prof. Dr. Hj Sri Iswati, SE., MSi., Ak, as the director in November 2015. It always makes breakthroughs, not only in accreditation improvement, multidisciplinary higher education center but also in creating excellent condition for the lecturers, staff and students.
Prof Is knows well that the unity of the academicians is a natural catalyst. With friendlier atmosphere and well-maintained spirit, the motivation to always serve, learn and research will always be there.
One of the steps made by Prof. IS and her colleagues in SP Directorate is conducting integrated promotion. Partial promotion of each program has been stopped. So if we want to 榮ell we cannot just provide one item on the 榤enu.
For example, in a promotion of Immunology, material presented should not be only one. But they should also promote the other programs. There are 12 programs in UNAIR, they should be presented with the same portion. Therefore, the presentation (power point or brochure, profil book) should be integrated and same for all.
Directly or not, teamwork will be built and even stronger. SP is a unity and it can檛 be separate. 淭here is togetherness. Every meeting all elements are involved. We reminded each other and we will reach our objectives together, Said Prof Is.
The professor of Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) said that SP must focus on participating to achieve World Class University (WCU) target including plan continuous progress in academics, student affairs and positive collaboration.
淚nsya Allah, this year we are goint to hold an indexed international seminar, said Prof. Is. The seminar will open the scholars and students minds. Furthermore, it will expand the global networking as well as improve the science significantly.
SP will always facilitate students with creations such as Postgraduate Student Association (Himasepa) which held social service in campus with arts and culture spirits. Himasepa members are also actively involved in national level postgraduate student association. (*)
