UNAIR NEWS– Prof.Dr.Dian Agustia, SE, M.Si., Ak., the Dean of Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB), 51动漫, is the next dean to be featured in our Special Coverage.
Interviewed byUNAIR NEWSon Friday, January 19, the friendly dean explained the various achievements that have been made by FEB in her leadership.The professor in the accounting field also reviewed various targets that will be aimed to support UNAIR towards Top 500 world-class universities.
Speaking about the targets to be achieved next, Prof.Dian said that every year the leaders of all faculties are asked to sign the performance target contract for the next year by the rector.The target of FEB itself is the increasing publications in scopus indexed international journals every year.
Prof.Dian told UNAIR NEWS that at the beginning of her leadership as Dean of FEB in 2015, for the publications in Scopus indexed international journals of FEB was still limited.Then, with her hard work with all members of FEB UNAIR, in 2016 the scopus-indexed international journals increased to 17. Meanwhile, for 2017 it increased to 30 journals.
“We are targeting 50. But we can see, there is a delta of growth from our performance all this time from 2 to 17 and last reached 30 scopus indexed international journals,” she explained.
About that achievement, Prof.Dian stated that her faculty will continue to strive to achieve these targets.In addition, she also committed to build a culture and academic climate that is always oriented to the practice of Higher Education Tri Dharma.
“We will strive to achieve the target with all the resources owned by the faculty,” explained Prof. Dian.
Given the extraordinary targets, there must always be obstacles encountered.Therefore, Prof.Dian added that academic culture cannot be built well directly.
“All need process, there are still many faculty services that must be given to all members of academic community so they are motivated to write, research, and publish,” she said.
Meanwhile, the solution that FEB has made in addition to optimizing facilities and infrastructure is to create an institution that aims to help how the research culture grows.The Institute is the Center for Research and Publications (3P).
“This institute is aimed to assist lecturers in the process of writing, researching, and publishing,” she added.
Quality Graduates
Prof.Dian also said that an institution exists to create quality graduates.Therefore, lecturers will conduct Higher Education Tri Dharma well to improve the quality of lecturers.
“If the quality lecturers can be achieved, we have big hopes that we can create a superior students,” said Prof.Dian.
At the end, Prof.Dian encouraged FEB students to be a superior students who should not only focus on the academic course, but also havesoft skills听.
“So after graduation, they will be complete graduates, not only good onhard skillsbut also good insoft skills,” he explained.“We hope that students graduated from 51动漫 become useful personalities for the nation and the state,” she concluded.
