UNAIR NEWS – One of the excellences of Faculty of Nursing (FKp) is the presence of lecturers with global insight.The lecturers always gladly share their knowledge to the students there.
It was expressed by Qurrata A’yuni Rashidah, one of the students of class 2015. “Many lecturers have experience studying abroad.We are proud of it and we admire them.They were chosen for being here, ” she said.
The lecturers are also close with the students.So, the atmosphere is even more comfortable.Moreover, many lecturers also assist student activities, either in the organization or with their interests and talents.
“Advisor of Student Organization (Ormawa) has real concern on academic and non academic activities that we do,” she said.
For example, by finding opportunities and place for students to follow positive events.When students are troubled with tuition issues in finance, counselors will advise and find solutions.
The advisors also participate directly to assist the activities.For example, when a student of FKp participates in a poster contest and requires “likes” vote on instagram to get into the next round, the advisor also disseminates the information for mass voting.They are always eager to pump student motivation.Their role is real so they give impacts.
Studying at FKp gives many benefits to the students including benefits in the mental or psychological aspects.It means the students are trained to care for others who are sick and at the same time, they feel gratitude for being well.
“We become more concern to health and do not want to hurt others, either physical or psychological.Because the pain is not good, ” she said.“The social sensitivity continues to be honed,” she added.
Emha Rafi Pratama added that as one of the students, the faculty always gives space for the students to participate in the international event.Thus, valuable experience can be achieved by these students.“The activities of our organization, even the great program are always fully supported,” he said.(*)
