UNAIR NEWS The Higher Education Tri Dharma (Three Pillars) is something universities must carry out. The three pillars consist of Education and Teaching, Research, and Community Service. These three points are a manifestation of the role of universities in spreading benefits for the community.
Community service, which is one of the obligations of universities, is a real step for universities to be directly involved in contributing to people檚 lives. To implement the existing Tri Dharma, the PSDKU (Study Center Off Main Campus) Accounting Study Program, 51动漫 in Banyuwangi, held community service activities in the form of three-day webinar series on 9, 10, and 16 October 2021.
This community service event carries the theme 淔inancial Report Writing Training for BUMDES (Village-Owned Enterprises). The target of the community service event is the BUMDES managers in Banyuwangi Regency. This activity aims to realize good BUMDES governance in accordance with Village SDGs program.
淭his activity is the study program檚 obligation to implement the Tri Dharma of Higher Education. Since our target is BUMDES managers in Banyuwangi Regency, we hope that the BUMDES managers can realize good and sustainable BUMDES governance. Therefore, we can directly contribute to realizing the development of Banyuwangi through the BUMDES that we have trained, said Izzato Millati, the Head of the Accounting Undergraduate Program at PSDKU Banyuwangi, on October 10, 2021.
The lecturer, known well as Izza, also explained that the Accounting Program collaborated with the Community Empowerment Service and the Banyuwangi Regency Village Government (DPM – PEMDES) in this community service event. The collaboration carried out with DPM – PEMDES aims to make this service event sustainable in the future.
淚n this event, we collaborated with the DPM – PEMDES to make the communication with BUMDES throughout Banyuwangi easier. We hope this collaboration can also take place in a sustainable manner so that in the future, the relationship between BUMDES and Accounting Study Program can be maintained well and mutually beneficial, added Izza.
The community service is carried out in the form of webinar series due to the pandemic that restricts face-to-face meetings. The activity is divided into three sessions. The first session on October 9 discussed the role of BUMDES in meeting village needs and accelerating the achievement of the Village SDGs. The second session was held on October 10 to discuss the role of digital marketing during the pandemic. Furthermore, the third session will be held on October 16, 2021, with the theme of Financial Report Writing Training for BUMDES.
淭his time, the community service is still done online because it is not yet possible to do it face-to-face. Meanwhile, the event itself is divided into three sessions with different presenters who discuss BUMDES and Village SDGs, digital marketing during the pandemic, and Financial Report Writing Training for BUMDES, concluded the Head of Accounting Study Program of PSDKU Banyuwangi.
