UNAIR NEWS– Community Service activities in Tamansari Village, the assisted village, on the fourth day held a dissemination andpackagingandmarketingtraining.The target of this activity is the residents and the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (UMKM) group.On this occasion, the presentation was delivered by a representative from Sun Osing as one of the sponsors of the activities.
Tamansari village is known as a tourism village. Besides having an attractive tourism potential, Tamansari Village also has very good natural resource potential. There are many Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (UMKM) in the village of Tamansari. The products offered by the community or the UMKM Tamansari Village are coffee, fresh milk, cloves and much more.
It inspired the committee to hold packagingdissemination and training activities.There is great potential in the village of Tamansari, moreover, there are many excellent products in the village with higher selling value.Therefore, packaging and marketing dissemination is needed so the economy of UMKM will improve.
ToUNAIR NEWS,Nanda Agustina as the person in charge of the activity explained that UMKM in Tamansari Village actually had the opportunity to be highly competitive, considering the large number of tourists visiting Tamansari village.
“We provide this dissemination and training so that it can be applied by UMKM industrial process,” she said. “The enthusiasm of the community and some representatives of UMKM was very high, because it was rarely done here, and is a new science for them,” she said.
