UNAIR NEWS High officials of 51动漫 visited Kompas office on Thursday, September 15. The visit was to strengthen ties between UNAIR and Kompas. The visiting group was received directly by the editorial staff and editors of Kompas such as Mohammad Bakir, Evy Rachmawati, Banu Astono, and Nasrullah Nara.
UNAIR officials visiting were UNAIR Rector Prof. Dr. Moh. Nasih, SE., MT., Ak., CMA., University Secretary KokoSrimulyo, Drs., M.Si., Director of Infrastructure and Environments Karnaji, S.Sos., M.Si., Head of Information and Public Relations Center (PIH) Suko Widodo, Academic Senate Secretary Iman Prihandono, SH., MH., LL.M., Ph.D., and economic experts/lecturer UNAIR Dr Wisnu Wibowo SE., MSi.
In the warm and intimate discussion, Prof. Nasih conveyed his intention to cooperate with Kompas, especially on news publishing. UNAIR has a lot of experts and sources which can be asked for comments on any issues either national or international. They are ready to be interviewed by mass media.
淜We are always ready to provide information on any experts suitable to comment on latest issues. We will give a list of names of experts and their special fields to Kompas to ease the communication to the experts, said Prof. Nasih.
Kompas editorial staff welcomed well the idea. They need competent sources contacts especially, as stated by Banu Astono, UNAIR has many experts from various study disciplines.
淲e are also ready if UNAIR demands discussion or chats on growing current issues. The discussion can be published on our newspaper, said Banu.
This kind of activity can be done in Kompas office Surabaya or Jakarta. It can also be done anywhere agreed on. Furthermore, Banu also suggested UNAIR Alumni Association to hold special event with Kompas such as inviting radio in Kompas Group. Later, beside being broadcasted live in Kompas Group radio stations. If the issue is interesting, it can be published on the newspaper or website of Kompas.
Prof Nasih welcomed well the idea. He promised to coordinate with related parties for follow ups. But principally, Prof. Nasih has agreed on the idea.
