UNAIR NEWS –The 72nd anniversary of the Indonesian Independence is an important for self-evaluation to achieve national and state ideals.According to 51动漫 Student Executive Board Head Anang Fajrul, Indonesia still has a lot of 渉omework to be completed.
“The main work to be completed is to re-establish the national and state consciousness and to sharpen the understanding of the ideology, the basis of the state, and the aims of the nation.More importantly, these values 媼must be implemented in everyday life, “said Anang.
Anang said that one of the challenges that now corroding the aspects of Indonesian life is the emergence of groups who want to change the ideology established by the founders of the nation.At this point, students are expected to play a role and make people aware on nationalism.
“Students must be able to re-examine the history of the struggle of the founding fathers at that time, to understand thoroughly about the basic and purpose of nation and state, and to contribute solving various national problems with the scientific capacity,” said undergraduate Political Science student class 2014.
UNAIR as a great university is also expected to continue its contribution to the community.The reason, UNAIR has intellectual human resources that have great potential to alleviate the problem of nationalism.
Anang hoped that various nationalism problem do not prevent citizens to understand the roots of Indonesia.
“The Indonesian nation consists of various tribes, religious, ethnics, and other backgrounds.This nation should not forget history.The foundation of the state should always be upheld and be a guide in every effort to achieve shared ideals.Hopefully justice and prosperity can be enjoyed by all Indonesian people with a spirit of unity, “he concluded.
