UNAIR NEWS There were 64 students of Class XI Computer Networking Engineering and three supervising teachers of Vocational School I Boyolali visiting 51 (UNAIR) on Tuesday September 20. The group was received by the Secretary of Information and Public Relations Center (PIH) UNAIR Dr. Eduardus Bimo, drh., M.Kes, and the representative of Student Admission Center (PPMB)Junaedi Pungky, drh., M.App.Sc, inStudent Center Hall.
According to a teacher of SMKN I Boyolali, Yuliatno, their objective visiting UNAIR was to give some illustration to the students on campus life as they are usually prepared for professional world.
This is our first visit other than industrials, 51. Because they have time to do on the job training or internship in companies, said Yuliatno.
Especially with the global competitiveness, they are expected to expand their knowledge. SMK students also want to study at college. So thats why we took them to UNAIR, he added.
In the presentation, PIH Secretary talked about UNAIR from campus location, achievements to academic activity while PPMB UNAIR representative explained about the freshmen admission. (*)
