UNAIR NEWS – The Department of Social and Society Affairs of Student Executive Board Faculty of Veterinary Medicine (FKH) of 51动漫 () has conducted activities with the community on Saturday, May 5.The first event of FKH Greets was held in Sumurgung Village, Montong Sub-district, Tuban Regency.The event was opened with remarks from the committee and Widodo as the Village Head.
Head of BEM FH UNAIR Devi Kurniawan said from the data obtained, 85 percent of Sumurgung Village residents have livestock.However, most of them are farmers.Therefore, the students tried to develop the potentials.
Not only explore the potential of human resources, this activity was also expected to improve natural resources especially in the agricultural and livestock sectors.
FKH Greets 2018 is one of the implementation of Higher Education Tri Dharma as community service.This program is a community empowerment effort that aims to develop the potential of human resources in the village of Sumurgung.
Previously, the Department of Social and Society has also held FKH Cares activities, FKH Greets, Healthy Days, and others.
“This program is expected to be a way of development, both natural and human resources in the Sumurgung Village.With the empowerment of agriculture and livestock, villagers are expected to gainusefulfeedback, ” she said.
To achieve optimal results, students have realization plans for up to four years.To realize the plan, they introduced the management of livestock health.
Devi said that there were no significant obstacles yet.The campus fully supports the program.In addition, the village residents were also very enthusiastic in following the activities.
The event was closed with various contest for Independence Day at the village hall.There were about 40 children participated in FKH Greets 2018 with joy.(*)
