UNAIR NEWS Syarifah Salsabila, the first daughter of Hadi Nurkholik and Menik Sugiarti is recorded as the youngest future student to be admitted at 51动漫 (UNAIR) in Biology program, Faculty of Science and Technology (FST). Sabila, her nickname, was graduated from Madrasah Aliyah(MA) Unggulan Amanatul Ummah Surabaya. The student born on July 30, 2001 was admitted to be UNAIR student through SNMPTN, and recorded as the youngest of all the future students, at the age of 14.
Interviewed via cellular phone connection, her mother said that she was already an elementary school student before she was five years old. Junior and senior high school was undergone through acceleration class. So at the age of 14, Sabila was graduated from senior high school to continue study at college.
淪ince she was in class 2 SD, Sabila always in top two of her classes, said her mother Menik Sugiarti.
Besides being intelligent in her class, Sabila was also active in extracurricular activities at school. She was in a contest of wits simulation club and Saman dance club. The student who has 5 juz of Al-Quran memorization was a champion in an MTQ competition on tahfidz quran category held by Ammanatul Ummah Foundation, Surabaya.
Ayah Sabila was an Arabic teacher in Arabic Learning Institution (LPBA) Masjid Agung Sunan Ampel, Surabaya. Menik said that her daughter wants to continue study at Arabic Literature in Morocco, but with her parents and an uncle, who is UNAIR lecture, Sabila then chose UNAIR. At the moment, Sabila is still learning at Islamic Boarding School Amanatul Ummah, Siwalankerto, Surabaya.
