UNAIR NEWS –Student clubs (UKM) UNAIR keep making UNAIR greater in many occasion. Now, time to theater students club (UKM Teater) Mata Angin. Its members succeed bring awards in the Theater Festival on April 23 -25 2017. The festival which was held at Universitas Surabaya was regional event. Besides Surabaya, There were also participant from Malang and Kediri.
UNAIR team performed the script namely Malam Jahanam greatly. Doubtlessly, UNAIR team awarded as the best performance. Furthermore, the team also won awards as the best director by Elvandy as Senar (Faculty of Vocational studies 2014) and best actress by Evana as Alis (Faculty of Public Health 2015)
The head of UKM Mata Angin UNAIR, stated, the intensive prepared was less than a month. However, they used to exercise and communicate with each other, it boosted the chemistry among actors which was the key of great acting. 淲e keep focusing on, although the competition day was middle test week, Risma said. She is the Politics Science student class of 2015
淐urrently, we are also preparing performance in Renoviesta, our biggest event which will be held on May 23rd 2017 at Cak Durasim Hall, She added
UKM member still remain to commitment, though they were busy with college task but it did not mean to leave hobby and activity in Theater club. They believe that they are able to balance those activities. So, they will get the best between academic and nonacademic activities.
The most important, they keep optimistic because efforts will not betray the results. All the hard works will be paid off. 淪olidarity or Teamwork is our basic. In theater, there are no individualism, Risma Stated
She hoped that the latest success could be a trigger of UKM Mata Angin to keep being productive and working, includes, keep participating to make UNAIR greater at local, regional or even international level. (*)
