UNAIR NEWS Rector 51动漫 is inaugurating three new professors on Wednesday, May 24. It means that UNAIR always produces new scientists to serve the community.
The three professors to be inaugurated are Prof. Dr. R. Tatang Santanu Adikara, M.Sc., drh (Faculty of Veterinary Medicine), Prof. Dr. H. Widi Hidayat, S.E., M.Si., Ak., CA., CMA (Faculty of Economics and Business), and Prof. Dr. I Dewa Gede Ugrasena, dr., Sp.A (K) (Faculty of Medicine).
Before their inauguration, Information and Public Relations Center (PIH) UNAIR held a press conference on Tuesday, May 23, In the press conference moderated by PIH Secretary Dr. Bimo Aksono, they explained about their scientific oration to be delivered the next day.
Prof. Tatang explained briefly his oration titled 淩oles of Acupuncture in Anatomy and Community Welfare. Tatang as the 26th active professors of FKH uses soft laser on acupuncture points in the animal called laserpuncture.
淟aserpuncture can be used to improve animal health, make them gain more weight, produce more milk, improve their endurance especially for race animals and also improve the reproductive ability, said the 456th professor of UNAIR.
In the future, laserpuncture will be used to prepare and improve production of Indonesian cattle.
Prof. Widi will deliver his 淓ntity Performance Optimization through Internal and External Audit Synergy. In the press conference, the 21st professor of FEB said that the government and business entity should have synergy for better management.
淭o simplify the audit process, either internal and external, so it won檛 be a burden, said UNAIR 457th professor.
Meanwhile, Prof. Ugrasena will also deliver his oration called 淪trategies in Improving Survival Rate for Cancer to Children in Situation Full of Challenges. The active 107th professor said that the survival rate for cancer to children is low.
UNAIR 458th professor identified at least nine causing factors for low survival rate. Some of them are lateness for treatment, financial problem, limited human resources, limited drug availability, malnutrition and limited medical facility.
