UNAIR NEWS– National Health Insurance (JKN) that has been running in the fourth year is always in the spotlight from various parties, including from .In a press conference held at Hotel Bumi Surabaya on Wednesday, September 13, UNAIR together with the Minister of Health, Chairman of the Indonesian Health Economics Association (InaHEA), Healthcare BPJS, and several experts presented the discussion on JKN.
On that occasion Indonesian Minister of Health of Nila Moeloek said, the existence of JKN is an effort in economics and health.She also added that during the existence of BPJS, InaHEA manages great deal of money.
“There檚 a great deal of money circulating in society.This could improve the economy.Our hope in health development, our society can be healthy, ” she added.
Responding to the statement of the Minister of Health, Vice Rector IV UNAIR Junaidi Khotib, S.Si., M.Kes., Ph.D.in front of the press said that the scientific activities carried out in collaboration with InaHEA, UNAIR, and the government had an excellent meeting.The reason, with the meeting of experts, there will be positive and fresh ideas on issues discussed.
“The inputs from all these parties are good for mutual improvement.So we will be able to perfect the existing system, ” he explained.
Chairman InaHEA Prof.Hasbullah Thabrany, dr., MPH in his speech, said that the organization his organization is a collection of people who have expertise in the field of health economics.For him, JKN program that was initiated together is a program that can not be separated from the role of health economics.

After the press conference, the event was followed by the opening of the 4th InaHEA Congress.UNAIR Public Health Faculty has the opportunity to host the 4th InaHEA Annual Scientific Meeting & International Seminar.
