UNAIR NEWS Informatics System Directorate (DSI) UNAIR hosted a workshop about Information Technology. The workshop took place at Plenary Room, Management office UNAIR campus C on Tuesday (14/11). It was officially opened by Vice Rector IV Junaidi Khotib, S.Si., Apt., M.Kes., Ph.D.
Vice Rector IV in his speech expressed that it is important to manage resources, especially IT resources within each division. This aims to maintain the mobility of each division and to fully support both vision mission of each division and UNAIR.
“In addition, the synergy of the DSI with each Unit of Information System (USI) in each division becomes important in preparing good and integrated information. This is certainly to prepare the foundation for employees to work optimally and able to support the Tri Dharma in UNAIR, “he said.
Director of Informatics System UNAIR, Badrus Zaman, stated that the satisfied TI and ability to manage resource could help UNAIR towards 500 world class university. And hence, through DSI, UNAIR would prepare the experts in Informatics System in each Division of UNAIR to manage the Informatics System.

In the workshop, the Director of Technology Development & Information Systems of Ten November Institute of Technology (ITS), Dr.Eng. Febriliyan Samopa, S.Kom., M.Kom. attended as the speaker. The workshop was also filled with discussion sessions from each USI regarding the obstacles they face in carrying out their duties to provide comprehensive data and provide IT services within each division.
