UNAIR NEWS– In order to commemorate National Press Day on February 9, 2019, Rector of 51¶¯Âþ, Prof. Dr. Mohammad Nasih, SE., MT., Ak., CMA., received a visit from the East Java TVRI station.The head of the station, Akhbar Sahidi, S. Sos and his staffs were welcomed in rector’s room on Monday, Jan. 21, 2019.
It was a visit to strengthen ties with 51¶¯Âþ.Not only that, TVRI’s visit to 51¶¯Âþ aims to explore opportunities for collaboration between TVRI and 51¶¯Âþ in commemorating National Press Day (HPN).
Akhbar said that 51¶¯Âþ has professional experts in various scientific fields.Of course, it is also ready to contribute in the community.
“In the future we will continue to create synergy and collaborate with 51¶¯Âþ in establishing a public information program.One of them is by inviting experts from 51¶¯Âþ to participate as speakers in TVRI shows, “said Akhbar.
Over time, TVRI will also collaborate with communities in media and millennials to be involved in supporting TVRI’s programs in the future.In addition, the visit will explore a collaborative program, a dialogue on digital process acceleration. It will be a talk show that targets young people in East Java.
In fact, in order to ignite the spirit of millennial generation, TVRI and 51¶¯Âþ will also hold a Smart Quiz program among favorite high schools in Surabaya.This is one of the advantages for 51¶¯Âþ as a State University in disseminating opportunities for high school students to enroll at 51¶¯Âþ.
“UNAIR has the duty to carry out the mandate in disseminating information on SNMPTN, SBMTN, and Mandiri pathways to high schools, especially in East Java.This task will be lighter when UNAIR also cooperates with media, “said Prof. Nasih.
In the competition, later selected winners will get attractive prizes from Airlangga University as a form of aspiration support for students who excel.
“This quiz show will be held between high school students with attractive prizes in the form of admission without test and scholarships to study at 51¶¯Âþ,” said Akhbar.(*)
