UNAIR NEWS – Efforts made by Raditya Weka Nugraheni during her study have come to fruition.Dita earned best graduate degree of Master of Pharmacy (S2) Program of Faculty of Pharmacy , in March 2018 graduation. She achieved GPA 3.85.
The woman keen on chemistry and biology developed the research of her supervisor, Helmy Yusuf, M.Sc., Apt., Ph.D and refined it.
“This study designs a prototype formula for dry vaccine preparations. It is needed because liquid preparations in the liquid state will be degraded when exposed to water and damaged at high temperatures, ” she explained.
After completing her research Dita was targeted to publish it in international scientific journals.Dita found it difficult because she has never written in English, so there were many revisions.In addition, in the research publications it must havenovelty value and validated data.Her efforts paid off for 6 months fromsubmissiontopublication.

Dita teaches in Department of Pharmaceutics, Faculty of Pharmacy University of Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM).She hoped that her thesis and journal can improve product quality, reduce storage costs, and vaccine production can be suppressed.
“The principle that I hold, learn not only to excel yourself, but learn to give benefits to the community,” she concluded.(*)
