UNAIR NEWS 51动漫 has admitted 1,972 future students from the 2017 State University Joint Entrance Test (SBMPTN). It was stated by UNAIR Rector Prof. Dr. Mochammad Nasih in the press conference in Management Office Building UNAIR on Tuesday, June 13.
淯NAIR admitted 1,972students from SBMPTN. 38 percent of them is men and 62 percent of them is women, said Nasih. UNAIR Rector also said that it was from more than ten thousand SBMPTN registrants to UNAIR.
According to Nasih, UNAIR is still dominated by future students from East Java. Based on the data released by the central committee, there are 1,502 students from East Java, while 98 students from DKI Jakarta and 92 students from West Java.
Even though it is dominated by students from East Java, there are admitted students from all regions of Indonesia. 淭here are students from Sumatera, Java, Kalimantan, Sulawesi and Papua, said Rector.
UNAIR Rector said that Nutritional Science Undergraduate Program has the highest competition rate in UNAIR, 1.49. From the social program, Communications undergraduate program was the highest, 1.38. It may be caused by the limited quota of the programs.
Meanwhile, the undergraduate program of Management, Faculty of Economics and Business became the most popular program in SBMPTN in social science group. The registrants were 2,806 people. While in Natural Science category, Medicine Undergraduate program has the most registrants.
Based on the released data by Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education, UNAIR is at the fifth rank with best average nationally. But the highest national score for Language program is achieved by English Literature Undergraduate Program with 681 total score.
At university level, the highest score SBMPTN UNAIR is from Medicine Undergraduate Program with 800 total score.
UNAIR 2017 Bidikmisi quota is 1,050 people. There are still 457 people from SNMPTN and 281 from SBMPTN in Bidiklmisi program. There are still 312 quota for the students to get Bidikmisi scholarship from Independent admission and Diploma program.
Related to Independent admission, Nasih said that UNAIR is in the process of getting the data of SBMPTN for the Independent Admission selection from the central committee.
“On 14th and 15th we will have got the data, on 16th we檒l talk about it and on 17th we will release the result, said Nasih.
