UNAIR NEWS –Limited number of existing brokers is one of the obstacles for the development of Commodity Futures Trading (PBK) industry in Indonesia.Seeing this, PT.Rifan Financindo Berjangka (RFB), Jakarta Futures Exchange (JFX), and PT.Indonesian Futures Clearing House (KBI) initiated an education-based cooperation between 51动漫 and all three institutions.It is done in the form of Futures Trading Learning Center(FTLC).
Being held at the Plenary Meeting Room, Campus C UNAIR, April 20, the cooperation on FTLC was established through the MoU signing by the Vice-Rector IV UNAIR Junaidi Khotib, S.Si., Apt., Ph.D., President Director of JFX Stephanus Paulus Lumintang, Acting President Director of KBI Fajar Wibhiyadi, and President Director of PT.RFB Ovide Dercoli, S.Kom.
On that occasion, the President Director of KBI said that FTLC plays an important role in providing early theoretical and practical insight of PBK industry to the academic community in facing the dynamic market development in the future.In addition, he added, futures contracts as one of the PBK instruments can be an alternative choice for investors.
“By incorporating the subject of PBK into the campus environment through FTLC, then it will advance the world of education as well as prepare the quality of human resource candidates for the industry of the PBK in the future,” said Fajar.
Meanwhile, the President Director of JFX said that scientific education related to PBK is not limited to UNAIR academic community, but also the East Java public as a whole.
“Obviously, we hope that FTLC can improve public knowledge of East Java, especially in the city of Surabaya,” he said.
In response, Vice Rector IV UNAIR confirmed that the literature of PBK is very useful for students, especially to increase students’ interest and enthusiasm for the value proposition of PBK industry to the community in general.
“So, there will be many human resources from the UNAIR campus who can participate in developing this industry,” he concluded.(*)
