In this regard, in an effort to improve international network in media,Suko Widodo, M.Si., as the Head of Information and Public Relations Center (PIH) UNAIR explored a possible cooperation in the field of media publications to Meltwater, an institution engaged in monitoring and international media network based in Singapore.
Contacted via whatsapp on Wednesday, January 31, Suko said that on his visit he was met directly by Alice Hogg and Irina.Both are staffs working at Melwater.About his visit, Suko said that in swift stream of globalization and digitization, UNAIR should have an international cooperation in the field of media.
“For media affairs of higher education institutions such as UNAIR, it is time we go faster and worldwide,” said Suko.
Representing Melwater, Alice hoped that Melwater can help UNAIR to get the latest data on the international community檚 view on UNAIR.
“Hopefully we can help twith he latest data recording on world檚 view of UNAIR,” said Alice.
In line with what Alice said, Irina said that from its media monitoring, UNAIR actually has a good reputation for spreading excellent information.But the monitoring must be improved so it will not be outdone by other universities that are also competing to be world class universities.
