UNAIR NEWS – Sinergi Cita is the new face of the Student Executive Board of Faculty of Economics and Business (BEM FEB) (UNAIR). Under the leadership of Vania Safira Febrianti and Romano Krisna Nugraha, BEM FEB is ready to serve the beloved faculty.
Vania Safira Febrianti explained Sinergi Cita means a harmonious collaboration in achieving aspirations. She is optimistic with vision, missions, and excellent work programs, BEM FEB UNAIR could provide a positive impact to the UNAIR academicians and the surrounding community.
淏EM FEB UNAIR檚 Cabinet of Sinergi Cita 2022 is ready to create synergy in achieving aspirations to carry serviceability to FEB, UNAIR, and Indonesia, Vania revealed.
Selection process
After several processes, Vania and Romano finally collaborated as BEM FEB UNAIR Head and Deputy candidates. They both tried to align their vision and goals.
淒ay to day, Romano and I made our best grand design for the sake of BEM FEB UNAIR to be better in the future, she said.
During the leader檚 open forum, Vania and Romano presented their vision and missions. After that, the next day, public dialogue with other candidates was held, and finally, election day came.
On election day, they both were in the same place. Vania said they prayed and strengthened one another regardless of the outcome later. They were both shocked at the vote percentage that voted for them at the announcement.
淧raise be to God. We felt happy because we can be trusted to lead BEM FEB to be better in the future. But, on the other hand, we檙e also quite tense because this is a big mandate and quite challenging to us, she said.
Flagship programs
The Development Economics student mentioned three flagship programs of BEM FEB UNAIR. These programs are created to support the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
To support SDG number 4, namely achieving quality education, BEM FEB UNAIR provides a Scholarship Mentoring work program. As for SDG number 8, conducting decent work for all and economic growth, BEM FEB carries the FEB Career Expo program to facilitate early semester, final year, or freshly graduated students.
淔EB Career Expo will explore careers to support the next student life, she explained.
The last flagship program is Self Development Program. This program aims students self-awareness regarding soft-skill development needed in the next five years. (*)
