UNAIR Graduation, Rector: UNAIR graduates are like the sun that continue to shine

UNAIR NEWS –On the second day of March 2021 graduation, 51动漫 (UNAIR) Rector Prof.听Dr.听Mohammad Nasih, SE., MT., Ak., CMA graduated 961 students from the vocational (D3-D4), undergraduate (S1), master檚 (S2), and doctoral degree (S3) levels.

This graduation ceremony was carried out in ablendedmethod, as the ceremony are streamed via teleconference through zoom application andthe YouTube page of UNAIR.听Meanwhile, the offline graduation was held at Garuda Mukti Hall, Campus C UNAIR limited to representatives of graduates, rectors, vice rectors, deans, and other leaderships.

In his remarks, Prof. Nasih conveyed that the challenges for UNAIR graduates are getting bigger. The current pandemic condition affects various aspects of life.

“Academic processes must be adapted to existing conditions, with one goal and hope that the pandemic will end soon. UNAIR academic community works to produce excellent graduates with good morality, “he said on Sunday, March 7, 2021.

On the other hand, Prof.听Nasih saidemployability isaffected by this pandemic condition.听The downward trend of economic growth affects job opportunities.

“Due to the relevance of the education process, UNAIR graduates waiting time to get a job ranges from 3-4 months, but in the current condition, with limited of job opportunities and the high rate of layoffs, it will be a challenge for UNAIR graduates,” explained Prof. Nasih.

Furthermore, UNAIR Rector for 2021-2025 also reminded the graduates to be optimistic.听Internationally,UNAIR’semployer reputationin the eyes of economic and socio-cultural actors is ranked 293rd inWorld University Rankings.听It is a valuable provision for graduates.

“We are sure, in the midst of the problems we face together, UNAIR graduates are not paper boats that are easily swayed by the waves. I think of UNAIR graduates as the sun, which continues to shine and send its light and energy to all corners of the world, he explained.

He also said that UNAIR graduates are like stars, when the dark comes, they will continue to shine. UNAIR graduates will continue to work and make contribution to human life.

“Congratulations and best wishes to the graduates of March 2021 period. Stay optimistic and confident and HEBAT ( Humble, Excellent, Brave, Agile and Transcendent),” he concluded. (*)
