UNAIR NEWS “ Ahead of new student admission period, 51¶¯Âþ (UNAIR) held a Talkshow and Dissemination of the 2022 State University Entrance Selection (SNMPTN, UTBK-SBMPTN) UNAIR. The event was carried out online through a zoom meeting and 51¶¯Âþ™s YouTube Channel on Friday, January 28, 2022 from the Amerta Hall, 4th Floor of the Management Office of University Airlangga.
UNAIR Rector, Prof. Mohammad Nasih, SE, MT, Ak., said that the dissemination was held to answer the curiosity of students, parents, and teachers in organizing the SNMPTN and SBMPTN 2022. According to him, the new student admissions do not have much difference from the previous year, which was divided into SNMPTN, SBMPTN, and Independent.
“Of the three ways, SNMPTN admissions have a minimum quota of 20 percent, SBMPTN 30 percent, and Independent 50 percent,” he said.
In this regard, UNAIR Rector invited schools and students to immediately register themselves through Single Sign On (SSO). The SSO is carried out in two stages, SNMPTN and SBMPTN.
According to him, eligible students of accredited schools can only be registered through the SNMPTN admission. Schools accredited A can register up to 40 percent of their students, 20 percent of B accreditation and 5 percent of C accreditation.
“Once again, I congratulate high school students who are included in the eligible category,” he said.
He continued, ineligible students can prepare for the SBMPTN admission, which is preceded by a computer-based written exam (UTBK). The Rector emphasized that the UTBK preparation also applies to students who are unaccepted during the SNMPTN admission, as the capacity of SNMPTN is very small.
œFor example, from 700-800 thousand registrants nationally, only 100 thousand are accepted. Therefore, all of the UTBK preparations must be followed,” he urged.
Higher Education Entrance Test Institute (LTMPT) account registration for School and Student Database (PDSS) and SNMPTN was held on January 4 “ January 8, 2022. Student registration will be held on January 10 “ February 15, 2022, and LTMPT account registration for UTBK SBMPTN will be held on February 14 “ March 17, 2022. Meanwhile, UTBK registration will be held on March 23 “ April 15, 2022.
The first batch of UTBK will be held on 17-23 May 2022, while the second batch will be on 28 May “ 3 June 2022. The results of the SBMPTN will be announced on June 23, 2022.
On the other hand, the total number of applicants for the 2021 UNAIR SNMPTN admission was 18,154, with a capacity of 1,260 and a competitiveness percentage of 6.94 percent. Meanwhile, the total number of applicants for the 2021 UNAIR SBMPTN was 27,338 with a capacity of 1890 and a competitiveness percentage of 6.91 percent.
