In UNAIR, KASAL, Menhub, and KKP Give Phones and Laptops

(My ancestors, sailors.Explore the vast ocean.Crashing the waves, with no fear.A storm is common)”.From students, Naval cadets, to the ranks of Ministry of Transportation and the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries (KKP) sang the song together on Tuesday afternoon, February 27.

On that day, there was a National Dialogue 7 with the topic “Success, My Indonesia!”.Minister of KKP Dr.(HC) Susi Pudjiastuti was represented by General Director of Marine Management, Adi Purwadi;Minister of Transportation Ir.Budi Karya Sumadi;and Chief of Staff of the Navy (KASAL) TNI Admiral Ade Supandi, S.E., M.A.P.

In a dialogue at the Airlangga Convention Center (ACC), Campus C , the government program related to efforts to make Indonesia as a maritime axis of the world was elaborated.The ministries™ efforts in building the progress, justice and welfare of society were also explained.

“Valid information from stakeholders can create an optimistic climate, especially in forming the spirit of togetherness in building the nation, “said Rector of 51¶¯Âþ, Prof.Muhammad Nasih, S.E., M.T., Ak, CMA in his speech.

Prof.Nasih added that there are false information or fake news circulating, especially in the world of social media.It can trigger a conflict.Therefore, the information related to the various things we have should be delivered clearly, especially on marine resources that we secure together.

“Good information, the right information, not a hoax, is what we need because this information becomes part of the decision-making process to all the actions we do.If the information is wrong, the treatment can be wrong as well, “he said.

If the information is good, correct, and not fake, he added, our behavior can also be as good as possible in supporting the success of Unitary State of Indonesian Republic.To the participants of the national dialogue, Prof.Nasih advised them to utilize the information given and involve all elements in the process of developing Indonesia.

The dialogue was ended with a quiz.A number of participants raced forward to follow the quiz. They were asked for opinions related to commitment and presentation of the Ministry of Transportation program.The upcoming program is about rebuilding the tram in Surabaya this year.

“I really support this.Because, it can be a solution to the congestion which often happens.In addition, low tariffs can show concern for poor communities to enjoy quality public transport facilities, “said one participant.

In the quiz, six participants had the opportunity to participate in the quiz.Two laptops were given by transportation ministers for best opinions.Twosmartphones werealso given to four other participants from KASAL and the Minister of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries.(*)
