UNAIR NEWS– Rector of Prof.Dr.Moh Nasih held a UNAIR leadership forum with parents of freshmen in 2018/2019 on Friday, August 3.The gathering invited parents of freshmen from 14 faculties in UNAIR.
In the gathering held in the Garuda Mukti Hall of Campus C UNAIR Management Office, the rector urged parents to fully entrust children’s education to UNAIR.The rector also urged them to give freedom to their children so their children could develop and achieve broader achievements.
“For Surabaya natives, for example.If they later want to join activities, continue education, even get a job offer to work outside the city, even abroad.Please, leave them be, “explained Rector UNAIR.
To the parents of frehmen, the rector also encouraged them to monitor the progress of their children檚 studies through UNAIRcybercampusaccount.Throughthiscybercampusaccount, parents can see firsthand the results of their children檚 studies.
“Parents can monitor their children檚 studies through acybercampusaccount such as seeing the score of each subject they programmed and how much the GPA is,” explained the rector.
In addition, throughe-learning, the teaching and learning process between students and lecturers can be done anywhere, not only at campus.
Meanwhile, Imron Rosyidi, the representative of the freshmen檚 parents in his speech expressed his gratitude for the invitation.
“We are committed togive any supportthe students need,” explained Imron.
The forum between leaders and parents of freshmen will last for four days.Starting from the 3rd, 6th, 7th and 8th of August 2018.
In the forum, UNAIR opened up opportunities for parents of freshmen who want to support and contribute for the education.All forms of donations managed by the Center for Social Fund Management (PUSPAS) which will be used for the education progress of UNAIR students.(*)
